ROUTE 7 DAYS FROM TANGIER TO THE DESERT MERZOUGA -FEZ
DAY 1: TANGER - CHEFCHAOUEN
After arriving in Tangier, we will take a tour of the city and then we will go to Chefchaouen, which is located in the mountains of Rio. It is a small city painted blue and very beautiful. There we will spend the night.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN - MIDELT
After breakfast, transfer to Midelt via Ifrane-Fez and the cedar forests. We will spend the night in a hotel in Midelt.
DAY 3: MIDELT - MERZOUGA
We will take the path to the Merzouga pass (Er-Rachidia) and see the green oasis of the Ziz Valley. We will arrive at the desert to enjoy the Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest in Morocco. There we will spend the night in a hotel in Merzouga.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we will pass along one of the trails that were used in the Paris-Dakar rally. We will visit the nomads and have green tea with mint. We will also visit the oasis where films such as Sahara, with Penelope Cruz, were filmed. We will also visit the city of the blacks, which takes its name from its inhabitants of the slave trade that they brought from Sudan. After lunch, we will board camels to go to the dunes to watch the sunset in the desert. We will spend the night in a tent under the stars and have dinner with the Bedouins.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA - FEZ
Early in the morning, we will watch the sunrise. We will return with the camels to the hotel to take a shower and have breakfast. We will leave for Fez, passing through the city of Rissani, a supply center for the ancient Sahara caravans. We will pass through the middle Atlas. We will arrive in Fez in the afternoon, have dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 6: DONE
On this visit we will explore an imperial city, the oldest in Morocco, which is Fez. We will visit the Jewish quarter, take a panoramic tour of the city and visit the medina of Fez, the oldest dating back to the 9th century. We will also visit the souks, mosques and mausoleums.
DAY 7: FEZ - TANGER
After breakfast, we will travel to Tangier to catch the ferry or plane. End of our service.
