5-DAY ROUTE FROM DAKAR AND MERZOUGA

Day 1: MARRAKECH- / AIT BEN HADDOU / OURZAZATE.

After breakfast we will leave Marrakech towards the city of Ourzazate, we will pass through the Atlas crossing the Tizi N Tichka port which is 2260 meters high.

On the way we will visit the Kasbah of Pache Glaoui in Telouet. And then we will arrive at the fortified city that is more than 800 years old, being the kasbah of Ben Haddou and films such as the famous film "Gladiator" or "The Kingdom of Heaven" have already been filmed.

In the afternoon arrive in Ourzazate, where you can visit the film studios. (Stay overnight)

Day 2: OURZAZATE TRAIL / AGDEZ-DRAA VALLEY / TAZARINE / MHARECH GORGE / DAKAR

Departure from Ourzazate towards Zagora passing through the Anti Atlas mountains and the Tizi N Tinifift port at 1600 meters high.

In the Draa Valley, we will see many villages, such as the villages of Nkob-Tarezino and Alnif.

Arrival at the Gorges of Marrakech.

These stages are those that take place during the Dakar Rally.

Day 3: MARRAKECH / RAMLIA OASIS / OUAZINA DUNES / MERZOUGA.

We will continue along the Dakar Rally track, passing through many support villages and crossing oases and the dunes of Ouzina.

Arrival at the village of Khamlia, a descendant of slaves who came from Africa, where we will enjoy its folk music.

Then we will follow the path of Erg chebby, the highest dunes in Morocco.

We will mount the dromedaries and go to the camp in the middle of the dunes (an hour and a half ride).

We will spend the night in a Berber tent (jaima)

DAY 4: MERZOUGA / RISSANI / TODRA GORGES / DADES VALLEY.

In the morning we will return to the hotel on camels to take a shower and have breakfast.

Departure towards Rissani, the first imperial city and origin of the Alaouite dynasty.

Then we will continue towards Erfoud famous for its black rocks and marine fossils.

We will pass through the Todra Gorges and finally arriving at the Dades Valley where we will spend the night.

Day 5: VALLE DEL DADES / VALLE DEL ROSES / SKOURA / MARRAKECH

Departure from the Dades Valley, taking the route of the Thousand Kasbahs and crossing the Valley of Roses until reaching the Skoura palm grove where the most famous Kasbah is located.

From this point we return to Marrakech.

End the tour in Fez.
