ROUTES 7 DAYS FROM CASABLANCA TO THE DESERT MERZOUGA -FEZ
Day 1: Casablanca - Marrakech
Arrival at Casablanca airport. We will visit the Hassan II Mosque and then head towards Marrakech. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation and breakfast.
Day 2: Marrakech - Ksar Telouet - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will depart Marrakech towards Ouarzazate, passing through the Atlas Mountains. We will visit the Kasbah of Telouet and the Palace of the Lord of the Atlas. We will also pass through the Berber villages of the desert and visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, famous for being the setting for cinematic hits such as "Lawrence of Arabia", "The Protecting Sky" or "Babel". In the afternoon, we will arrive in Ouarzazate, known as "Morocco's Hollywood", where we will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 3: Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we will pass through the Valley of Roses and Valley of Dades. We will then arrive at Boumalne Dades, very famous for its gorges. We will pass through the mountain town of Tinghir, with its palm trees, and the Todra gorges. Afterwards, we will go to Arfoud and Rissani, which is the gateway to the Erg Chebbi desert, 35 km from Merzouga. There, we will take a camel ride to cross the dunes and reach the Berber tents (jaimas), where we will spend the night.
Day 4: Desert - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Fez
After watching the sunrise over the sea of dunes, we will return by camel to have breakfast and shower. We will leave for the Ziz Valley, passing through Arfoud, very famous for its fossils. We will then pass through Midelt and Ifrane, known as "Moroccan Switzerland", before heading to Fez, where we will spend the night in a riad.
Day 5: Fez - Guided Tour
On this day, we will explore the oldest city in Morocco, Fez, with its medina, the oldest in the world, dating back to the 9th century. We will visit the Jewish quarter, souks, mausoleums, mosques, among others. We will return to the hotel to spend the night and have breakfast.
Day 6: Fez - Meknes - Marrakech
After breakfast, we will leave for Meknes, passing through fertile valleys full of olive trees. We will visit the walls, such as Bab Mansour, the Moulay Ismael mausoleum, among others. At the end of the day, we will leave Meknes towards Marrakech, where we will spend the night.
DAY: 7 VISIT TO MARRAKECH
Free day to explore Marrakech on your own. Then transfer to the airport.
